We believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, achieve their full potential, and actively contribute to society. Modupe Afiz Ogun is an autistic mother and passionate advocate for individuals with special needs. Through her NGO, the Modupe Afiz Ogun Foundation, she channels her lived experience as a parent to a neurodivergent child into purposeful advocacy. Her personal journey, marked by both challenges and triumphs has shaped her into a powerful voice for families navigating a world that often overlooks or misunderstands difference.
What began as a mission to support her own child has evolved into a global advocacy effort spanning Gambia, South Africa, the UAE, Germany, and Nigeria. Over the years, Modupe has educated communities about inclusion, raised awareness on disability rights, and championed better access to education, healthcare, and support for people with special needs. Her voice has become one of trust and inspiration, helping countless families find strength and understanding in their journeys.
